In 1979, when Terry Lickona became the producer for Austin City Limits starting in Season 4, now he's currently the executive producer. Terry Labonte was named NASCAR Rookie of the Year, and The Dukes of Hazzard premiered on CBS, we changed our name from Master Charge to MasterCard and on the favicon, the "Card" replaced the "Charge" and "THE INTERBANK CARD" and Interbank logo got replaced by the invisible them blanks.
1990–1996[]
The font was changed and italicized, and the intersection of the circles was changed to horizontal stripes.
1996-2016[]
1996–2007[]
In 1996, a drop shadow was added to the lettering and the number of interlacing lines were reduced. Though a new corporate logo was introduced in 2006, this logo remains in use on the cards themselves until 2016.
