On January 17, 2020, it was announced Fox Searchlight Pictures would shorten its name to simply Searchlight Pictures, following Disney's purchase of 20th Century Fox's assets the year prior and likely to avoid confusion with the separate Fox Corporation. The first film to use this new logo will be Downhill on February 14, 2020.
