This is the very first variation to feature the "a SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT company" byline, it is also the only variation of any other of the older Columbia logos to feature this byline.

1993, 2005, 2017-present[]

1993, 2005[]

This is the only variation of the logo to not include the "A Columbia Pictures Release" text, as all of the logos except this one used the text.

2017-present[]

The byline "a SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT company", like the previously used closing logo, was changed to the current "a Sony Company" byline. This current variation of the 1993 logo also carries the text "A Columbia Pictures Release", unlike the original variation of this logo.

1993-present[]

1993-2014, 2015[]

Note: This logo makes an unusual appearance at the end of 2015’s Pixels.

2013–2017, 2018, 2020[]

The byline "a SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT company" was shortened to the current byline "a Sony Company", appearing in the same font.


2024[]

This logo appears to celebrate the 100 years of Columbia Pictures, which was first established since 1924. This made its debut in the Marvel film "Madame Web".
